Elena has over 12 years of experience as public health advocate, motivational speaker and science journalist in longevity field.
In 2016-2022 she served on the Board of Directors of non-profit mediacompany Lifespan Extension Advocacy Foundation. During her work at Lifespan.io Elena supervised strategic planning and business development, the organization of the Ending Age-Related Diseases conference series, and published many articles concerning public perception of aging research. She is the author of the Lifespan.io Ethics Code of Longevity Journalism.
In 2015, Elena worked with the International Longevity Alliance as a volunteer project manager and fundraiser.
In 2013-2015 she worked as the coordinator of aging prevention projects of the Council for Public Health and Demography (Russia). She is a co-author of the book “Aging Prevention for All” (in Russian, 2015).
Previously Elena has worked as a project manager in the pharmaceutical and advertisement industries, helping to promote new drugs and therapies.
Elena graduated with BA in psychology and foreign languages and is now working to earn her MBA at the oldest Russian business school MIRBIS.
